We have Survived

We had a very laid back Christmas. We made a trip to the downtown square to look at the lights and ride ponies. We went to church on Christmas Eve and then to a friend's house for a Happy Birthday Jesus party. Then it was home and to bed! Santa was on his way. Of course, Santa needed to do some last minute wrapping! The girls were awakened by a bell and cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate in bed. I guess dad is starting a new, very sugary tradition. Then it was time to get to the fun part. Santa brought the girls a doll house, a vacuum cleaner, a watch, and a microphone. Colby got a little drum. PawPaw and Granny and Uncle Chris and Aunt Mekell were very good to all of us too!
We hope you all had a blessed Christmas and did not forget the BEST gift of all - Jesus Christ and life eternal in Heaven!

What great traditions! I hope to remember all the fun stuff I've been hearing to carry on with my children(Lord willing)

The slide show of the Carter Christmas was very special. We can hardly wait to get our hugs and kisses and share our Christmas a little late.
