More Matching

Here are the girls in matching pajamas that were sent by their Pop and Gigi. This was quite the monumental achievement by us to get Em into it again for the pic. Out of the box she loved it, and even wore it the first night she got it.... but since then she has been all about her "princess nightgowns". It is a battle to get her to wear anything that isn't frilly, dressy, or make-believe (see Minnie Mouse, Sleeping Beauty, etc).

As of now, Avery is content with whatever we put on her. I fear that is about to change soon.

Miss Manners

Tonight, Becky had a meeting to attend so I was in charge of dinner with the little people. I took this as an opportunity to teach my oldest daughter that she was to be an example of good behavior for her little sister. I tried explaining that Avery was watching her every move; she needed to exemplify self-control as well as be a model of decency and maturity. A few moments later, I turned around to see Emory licking Jell-O off the table......

Update?

Ok, so I was lovingly informed by a good friend that if we were going to have a blog, we had to update it at least weekly. For those of you who really know me, that's going to be a challenge. Nevertheless, updating was the sole purpose of creating this thing, so here goes:

Becky is now over the first trimester thing, but we're all battling congestion thanks to the "beautiful" pollen and ragweed. We actually got a few snowflakes a week ago, and it was in the 30s this past weekend. Of course today it was back to the 70s, so the foliage is just as confused as our sinuses are. I planted a few small trees on Sunday, and Becky has been aspiring to start her garden in the backyard. Let's see, what else.....

Oh yeah, we got a new vacuum cleaner today.

That's about it. We live extraordinarily interesting lives. :)
